Detailed Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive Delhi
Meet and greet and Delhi airport and transfer to hotel. Later in the afternoon, visit the famous tourist spot of old and new delhi like jama masjid, Qutubminar, Humayunstomb,Rajghat, lotus temple, chandnichowk (explore market through rickshaw ride), drive past India gate, presidential house, parliament house.
Dinner and Overnight stay in Delhi.
Day 2: Taj Mahal - Agra - Fatehpur Sikri
After breakfast, in the morning to visit beautiful Taj Mahal (close on Friday). Now proceed to visit historic agra fort, itmad - ud - daulah (baby taj). Have a lunch break for energy boast. Explore local market to buy souvenir for your friends and family. Later drive towards pink city, Jaipur enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri which is also called ghost city.
Day 3: Delhi Airport drop & Srinagar Airport pickup
Meet and pick-up from Srinagar airport and you will be escorted to hotel. Time at leisure and you will be served with hot Kashmir Tea (Also known as Kashmiri Kehwa). In the evening, shikara ride to the Dal Lake to visit Char Chinar. The Char Chinar, also known as Silver Island in the Dal Lake. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel
Day 4: Srinagar - Gulmarg - Srinagar
After a breakfast at hotel, drive to Gulmarg. Gulmarg ("Meadow of Flowers"), India's version of a ski resort, is situated less than two hours drive east of Srinagar. You may still want to let the gondola whisk you more than 13,000 feet up Mount Apharwat for outstanding views. Apparently, it's the world's highest cable car. And, it's very popular, so you should buy your tickets online to avoid long queues. GULMARG means, the place of roses. The town is nestled within the imposing Himalayan peaks, and lies within miles of the Line of Control. It receives heavy snowfall during the winter season and is a popular ski resort. It is the highest green golf course in the world. Gulmarg is among the most famous tourist destinations in India. In the Evening Drive Back to Srinagar for a dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 5: Srinagar - Pahalgam - Srinagar
Pahalgam, the "Valley of Shepherds", is around three hours drive from Srinagar and is near the departure point for pilgrims going on the Amarnath Yatra. Pahalgam is a beautiful valley. Visitors commonly head to Pahalgam's Betaab Valley (the Bollywood movie "Betaab" was shot there), with its fresh flowing Lidder River and surrounding snow-capped hills. The river is one of the favorite spots for trout fishing in the country. Rafting is also organized at this river. Aru Valley is a small yet self-sufficient scenic village located 12 km from Pahalgam. The drive up to the village is alluring too. In the evening, drive to Srinagar for an overnight stay
Day 6: Srinagar Airport Drop & Leh Airport Pick-up
Arrival at Leh airport and transfer to the hotel. Full day of complete rest for acclimatization to the high altitude of Leh (11,500 ft /3500 mtrs)Overnight in hotel
Day 7: Leh - Pangong Lake - Leh
Full day excursion to Pangong Lake (approx. 300 kms round trip, located on the Indo-China Border), enroute crossing the Chang-la pass (alt: 17370 ft.). After sightseeing around the lake, drive back to Leh, reaching in the late afternoon / evening. Overnight in hotel
Day 8: Leh - Nubra Valley
After breakfast leave for Nubra Valley, driving across Khardong-la (alt: 18,380 ft). After descending from the pass, drive on for sightseeing of Sumoor area and SamstalingGompa. Later check into a fixed camp in the same area or drive across to Deskit / Hundar for overnight in a fixed camp or hotel.
Day 9: Nubra Valley - Leh Local Sightseeing
After leisurely breakfast, visit Shey Palace, Thiksey Monastery, Hemis Monastery and Stok Palace Museum. Overnight in hotel
Day 10: Leh Airport drop
Early morning transfer to the airport for taking the flight back home.
